Offline update and older versions

These terms describe the offline-only Android and Windows update being prepared by CelestiaDominance and the retirement of the earlier Mahjong online service. Preparation is not publication: the updated app becomes available only when released for its platform. Older distributed versions may still show retired online or store-purchase controls.

The Mahjong online services were retired on September 14, 2026. The offline update removes online sign-in, multiplayer/co-op, cloud saves, public leaderboards, remote profiles and in-app purchases through Google Play or Microsoft Store. No online game account or Internet connection is required to play the offline update.

1. Provider and scope

These terms cover the game, not a separate CelestiaDominance website account, website purchase or Celestia Vault subscription. The applicable platform's distribution terms also apply when you obtain the app through that platform.

2. Permission to use the game

Subject to applicable law and the relevant store licence, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the game for personal entertainment on a compatible device. CelestiaDominance and the respective rights holders retain ownership of the game's code, artwork, audio, names and other protected material. These terms do not give you ownership of the app, coins, digital items, source code or protected assets.

Do not redistribute the app or its protected assets, misrepresent ownership, or use them unlawfully without permission. This does not restrict rights or exceptions that applicable law gives you.

3. Offline play and local saves

Levels, coins, upgrades, completion records and settings are stored on the device. Existing locally saved progress, balances and already-unlocked upgrades are retained when the offline update can read the installation's existing save data. Former Windows player save slots can be kept separately; they are not merged into one combined balance.

The offline game does not sync progress across devices, restore it from a retired server, or perform a new store-entitlement lookup. Data that was never saved on the device cannot be recovered by this update. Clearing app storage, an operating-system reset, uninstalling, device loss or corruption can remove local progress and upgrades. An in-game progress reset may deliberately preserve an already-recorded paid upgrade.

4. Coins, upgrades and earlier payments

The offline update offers no new Google Play or Microsoft Store in-app purchases. Coins remain an in-game resource for supported gameplay actions and upgrades. They have no cash value and cannot be redeemed or transferred as money, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Removing purchases does not automatically unlock all upgrades or give every player unlimited coins.

Existing locally recorded coin balances and timer/unlimited-time upgrades are retained. Historical purchase records remain with the store provider. The offline update does not re-check purchase receipts to recover an upgrade after all local app data has been removed.

For a question about an earlier charge, delivery or refund, use the relevant store's support process and contact CelestiaDominance if needed. Mandatory consumer protections, remedies and refund rights are not excluded by these terms. Do not send passwords, authentication codes or full payment-card details in a support request.

5. Retired services and website accounts

Earlier optional sign-in, co-op, leaderboards, cloud saves and online wallets are no longer available. Older app controls or old documentation do not make those services available again. Retiring the game service did not delete your separate CelestiaDominance website account, website purchases, profile information or Celestia Vault files. Website requests and account settings follow the website's own terms and privacy notice. Opening a help or policy link deliberately leaves the offline game and uses your browser.

6. Compatibility, updates and support

The game requires a compatible device and its supported platform runtime. App installation and updates may require Internet access through the store even though gameplay is offline. A prepared build or store submission is not a guarantee of release approval or a specific publication date.

CelestiaDominance may release maintenance updates or change supported features subject to applicable law. No particular future feature, service or uninterrupted support period is promised here. If you encounter a bug, include the platform, app version and relevant non-sensitive details when contacting support.

7. Safety and statutory rights

Take breaks and stop playing if you experience discomfort. Use device accessibility and sound settings as appropriate. Parents or guardians should help with store accounts and device settings where required.

The game is provided "as is" and "as available." CelestiaDominance does not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free or compatible with every device or operating-system version. To the maximum extent allowed by law, warranties not expressly stated in these terms are disclaimed, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, CelestiaDominance is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, loss of data or progress, loss of profits, service interruption, device problems or third-party service failures. As in the earlier terms, total liability for claims related to Mahjong Glyph Towers is limited to the amount you paid directly for its digital purchases in the 12 months before the claim, unless applicable law requires a different result.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights and responsibility that the law makes mandatory. These limitations apply only to the extent allowed by applicable law.

8. Changes and contact

Material feature or policy changes will be reflected in the updated terms and date on this page. We do not treat merely viewing this page as an agreement to a new payment or account contract.
