Offline update and older versions

CelestiaDominance is preparing an offline-only update for the Android and Windows editions of Mahjong Glyph Towers. This page describes that update and the retirement of the earlier online services. Preparation does not mean that the update has already been published in Google Play or Microsoft Store; availability depends on the release of each platform's updated app.

The Mahjong online services were retired on September 14, 2026. Older installed versions may still display sign-in, co-op, leaderboard, cloud-save or purchase controls. Those controls are not a promise of an available online service. The offline update removes them, including Google Play and Microsoft Store in-app purchases.

1. Who provides the game

Mahjong Glyph Towers is provided by CelestiaDominance. For privacy questions and data requests, use https://celestiadominance.com/contact. The website's legal notice is available at https://celestiadominance.com/impressum.

2. Information stored on your device

The offline game stores the information needed to play and continue locally. This can include level progress and completion records, unlocked levels, coins, tray-slot upgrades, an already-unlocked timer removal or unlimited-time upgrade, sound and accessibility settings, and a local player name. Existing local profile save slots and their identifiers may be retained when updating an older Windows installation.

These saves stay in the app's storage on that device. They are not uploaded as a cloud save, shown on a public leaderboard, or shared with other players by the offline game. The update reads existing local saves rather than looking up a Google, Microsoft or CelestiaDominance account. It does not recover a balance or entitlement that was never stored locally.

3. What the offline app does not collect

The offline update does not create a game account, sign in to Google or Microsoft, upload profile photos, connect to multiplayer, send gameplay or scores to CelestiaDominance, or process new in-app purchases. It includes no advertising or third-party analytics SDK.

The offline Android app does not require Internet or Google Play Billing permission. It does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, SMS, call-log, calendar or advertising-ID access for gameplay. The Windows game uses packaged local content; its game UI does not load a remote website to play.

4. Optional website links and support

If you deliberately open a privacy, terms or help link, the link opens a website in your browser. That visit is separate from offline gameplay and follows the website's own privacy and cookie notices. Websites may receive normal request information such as IP address, browser information and request time.

If you contact us, we process the information you choose to send to answer your request and meet applicable obligations. Please do not send passwords, authentication codes, full payment-card details or unrelated personal information. Contact and website data are covered by https://celestiadominance.com/privacy.

5. App stores and earlier purchases

Google Play and Microsoft Store distribute and update their respective apps under their own policies. They may process installation, update, diagnostic, account and historical payment information independently of the game. Removing in-app purchases from the game does not delete either provider's purchase history or account.

Already-recorded local coins and unlocked upgrades are retained by the offline update. It no longer queries store purchases or an online wallet to restore an entitlement. For a historical payment or refund question, use the relevant store's support process and applicable consumer rights.

6. Retired online data and separate website accounts

The live Mahjong-specific server records for the retired online service were removed during retirement. Private recovery archives created before that removal can still contain historical records; retirement is not a claim that every backup or legally retained record was erased. They are not an active game account, wallet or cloud-save service.

Your separate CelestiaDominance website account, website purchases, profile information and Celestia Vault files were not deleted by the game's retirement. Their processing and deletion options follow the website's own notices. 7. Retention, deletion and save loss

Local saves remain on the device until they are removed. Clearing the app's storage, resetting it through the operating system, or uninstalling it can remove progress, coins and recorded upgrades. An in-game progress reset may preserve an already-recorded paid upgrade; use the operating system's app-storage controls if you intend to remove all local app data.

There is no game cloud sync, cloud recovery or new store-entitlement restore in the offline update. A website account-deletion request does not remotely erase a device's local saves. Protect your device and understand the consequences before clearing its app data.

8. Your rights and children

You can play without an online game account and control local app data through your device. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of personal information that CelestiaDominance actually holds. We may need proportionate information to verify the request without asking for your password.

The offline game is a puzzle game for a general audience. Parents and guardians should help with store accounts, support requests and device settings where appropriate. If you believe a child supplied personal information through an older online version or a support request, contact us so it can be reviewed.

9. Changes and contact

We will update this page when the game's actual features or data practices change and show the updated date. Nothing in this notice removes rights provided by applicable law.
